Common Questions About ATMs

Where are your ATMs located?

Easily find an ATM within our surcharge-free ATM network - over 80,000 nationwide!

What is an ATM surcharge?

An ATM surcharge is a fee charged by the ATM owner, not Wings. Luckily, Wings members have access to 80,000+ surcharge-free ATMs nationwide. Use our ATM & Branch Locator to find one near you!

What is a surcharge-free ATM?

Owners of surcharge-free ATMs do not charge a transaction fee, however, Wings will charge a $2.50 fee per transaction if you have completed more than 5 withdrawals in your statement cycle.

How many withdrawals can I make without a fee?

Wings members receive 5 free withdrawals at non-proprietary ATMs (meaning the ATM is not owned or affiliated with Wings Credit Union) per statement cycle. After 5 withdrawals, a $2.50 fee will apply. Members get unlimited withdrawals at Wings ATMs without a fee.

Personal Tellers

Wings is dedicated to investing in technology that creates a better banking experience for our members and allows us to expand availability of our services! A Personal Teller Machine, or PTM, does just that – it looks like an ATM but gives members the ability to have real-time, private conversations with a Wings Personal Teller who is located at our headquarters.

Our Personal Teller service combines face-to-face service with self-service convenience. Just touch the screen for:
- Live video chat with a Personal Teller
- Most teller services available
- Expanded service schedule

Common Questions About PTMs

What is a PTM?

A Personal Teller Machine looks like an ATM, but a member can have real-time, face-to-face conversation with a Wings Personal Teller. A video camera on each side allows the member to interact with the Personal Teller located at our corporate offices. Sound is carried through speakers, a handset, or an optional headphone jack on the PTM.

What does the PTM do?

The PTM has a camera for face-to-face transactions, a touch screen so members can enter information, a scanner to scan ID, audio via handset, earbud or speaker, receipt printer, cash and check acceptors, and it functions as a regular ATM when Personal Tellers are not available.

Is there a fee to use a PTM?

No, using a PTM is the same as going to a teller window inside a branch. There are no additional fees.

What transactions can a member complete using a PTM?

Members can do just about every transaction they can do with a teller inside one of our branches. Members can make deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cash checks, make loan payments and more!

PTMs are unable to dispense change. If a check is cashed that includes change, the change will be deposited directly into the member’s account.
