Wings Board of Directors – Board Vice Chair, Risk Committee Chair, Governance Committee Member

Mr. Miller began his tenure as a Wings Associate Director in 2015. He currently serves as a Vice Chair of the Wings Board of Directors, Chair of the Risk Committee and member of the Governance Committee. Mr. Miller recently retired as the President and CEO of Dakota Electric Association after being promoted into the role in 2001, previously serving as the company’s Executive Vice President of Operations. Prior to his tenure with Dakota Electric, he spent 11 years working for the Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative in Jordan, MN as a member of the senior management team. Mr. Miller was previously involved with the Rotary Club of Apple Valley, Dakota County Chamber of Commerce, Minnesota Zoo Board and Dakota County Technical College Board. Mr. Miller graduated from Mankato State University where he earned a degree in both Computer Science and Business. Since graduation, Mr. Miller has continued his education at the University of St. Thomas and Carlson School of Management, focusing on leadership, strategic planning and negotiation.

Compensation Committee Member, Supervisory Committee Member

Mr. Humphrey has been a Wings member for over 30 years and first became a Wings Associate Director in 2020. He currently serves as a member on the Wings Compensation and Supervisory Committees. Mr. Humphrey works as Vice President, Chicago O’Hare Operations for American Airlines after previously working for Northwest, Delta and Sun Country Airlines. He also serves on the Choose Chicago Board. Mr. Humphrey and his wife, Kate, have lived in Eden Prairie for the last 15 years where they have raised their two kids. In his downtime, he enjoys skiing, golfing, hunting and thoroughbred horse racing.
